Parlor Shows were performed during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries listed as “soirees.” These small exclusive shows were often performed in the drawing rooms, parlor rooms of affluent individual’s.
Parlor magic provided a unique opportunity and a chance for people to experience the wonders of the magician’s art of sleight of hand in a more intimate setting — a setting in which the audience becomes a part of the performance.

Spectacular illusions and magic at the International Brotherhood of Magicians Ring 81 Stars of Magic Gala show on February 5th 2011. The show will also feature Michael Barron from the Kenneth Feld’s (Ringling’s Brothers Barnum Bailey’s) production of Disney Live: Mickey’s Magic Show. This is the largest touring family illusion show in the world.
Duane Laflin is the third Star of the show and will perform a number of his favorite illusions in the show. Duane is currently performing at the Grand Majestic Theater in Pigeon Forge Tennessee.

The Field Club built on the “gold coast” of Sarasota Florida during the 1910s and 1920s was the winter home of Stanley and Sara Carroll Brown Field. The Fields, of the Marshall Field retail stores in Chicago, were drawn to this area by the beautiful Sarasota Bay.

Getting ready to leave for the National Association of Realtors Convention in Washington DC for three days, and then back to Sarasota Florida to get ready for the next five days of speaking, Magic, comedy, and Hypnosis shows.

I will be performing my Comedy Stage Hypnosis show again for the third year in a row for the West Boca Raton High School after graduation party and the Olympic Height High School after graduation party. Both are fantastic school and should be great shows.

One day in between and off to Wichita Kansas to also perform my Comedy Stage Hypnosis show for the Derby High School after graduation post party, this will be the ninth year. WOW.

No time to rest I fly back to Ft Lauderdale to perform for the USMA Group. This program will be my “The Magic of Laughter”. They expect over 500 people at this conference. I want to thank Steve Gardner with Five Star Speakers for booking this event. This program is all about magic and entertainment and it is an after lunch program.

In 2000, I launched my speaking career as a corporate speaker / entertainer, combining all of my entertainment skills and talents along with my corporate experience and knowledge to help companies motivate and excite their employees. My main expertise is after dinner programs, luncheons, awards banquets, and company employee events.
Programs that I offer are fun and entertaining as well as educational. All program use Magic or Comedy hypnosis to educate and entertain.
